Stress need not be a dirty word, it seems. It is counter intuitive to learn that stress can be an ally and not an enemy. The key to managing stress and harnessing it for personal development is to recognize it when it strikes us. We should have the self-awareness that we are stressed out. We should be aware of the typical physical and mental symptoms of stress.We must take care not to be overwhelmed by stress. If stress incapacitates us, none of the strategies can be tried out.
