Step 1: Actual Self-Compassion — My New Superpower
I’m no superhero, but I’ve learned that self-compassion is my secret weapon against burnout. Here’s my game plan:

a. Recognize the Signs:
Burnout isn’t just a word; it’s a feeling. I think the first step is spotting those sneaky signs like chronic fatigue, grumpiness, and generally just being down.

b. Self-Care Extravaganza:

It’s not selfish; it’s survival. Some days it is simply walking one lap around the block. I often find those 10 minutes of fresh air are life-giving. Whatever it takes — I just have to choose to do something.

c. Zen Mode:

I started early — 10 minutes in the morning. Devotionals are my go-to. I also started small, praying for the time it takes to microwave popcorn, and worked my way up.
