This year it’s set to get interesting as the groups are all set for the UEFA champions league.

Current champions Real Madrid will be facing tough competition as they are slotted in the toughest group amongst all. They will be facing Dortmund and Spurs in the group stages. Real will be looking to defend their title but they need to prepare themselves for a tough group stage.

The reigning premier league champions Chelsea also face a tough lot as they are drawn in group which contains the likes of Atletico Madrid (Deigo costa would love it!!) and Roma.

Apart from Tottenham and Chelsea, English teams have received slightly easier draws. Liverpool will face Sevilla. (Fans would like to forget the night in Basel).

Barcelona did not get an easy pass either, as they were drawn against Juventus, Olympiakos, and Sporting in Group D.

Bad luck Celtic. You are against PSG and Bayern.

Ligue 1 champions Monaco face Porto in a re-run of the 2004 Champions League final, joining first-timers RB Leipzig in Group G, where all three teams must come to Besiktas.
