Components:

Four skinless chicken breasts
Four ham slices, four Swiss cheese slices

Half a cup all-purpose flour

one cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil or cooking spray

Guidelines:
1. Set the oven temperature to 375°F, or 190°C.
2. On a chopping board, place a flat chicken breast. You can butterfly it

if it’s thick by cutting through it halfway, but take care not to cut all the way through. Using a meat mallet or rolling pin, pound the chicken to a uniform thickness of 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Continue with the remaining chicken breasts.
3. Use salt and pepper to season the chicken breasts on both sides.

4. Top each chicken breast with a slice of Swiss cheese and a slice of ham.
5. To keep each chicken breast together, roll it up, beginning at the shorter end, and fasten it with toothpicks.
6. Transfer the breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, and flour into several shallow dishes.

7. After dipping each chicken breast into the beaten eggs and rolling it in flour, cover it equally with breadcrumbs.
8. Transfer the breaded chicken breasts to an aluminium foil or parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
9. Lightly spray or brush the tops of the chicken breasts with olive oil or cooking spray. 10. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and the coating is crispy and golden brown.
11. Before serving, take the toothpicks out of the chicken breasts.
12. Present your homemade chicken cordon bleu hot and relish!
You can serve it with your preferred sides, like as a crisp salad, steamed veggies, or mashed potatoes. Enjoy your food!
