History of the USA

The history of the lands that became the United States began with the arrival of the first people in the Americas in 15,000 BC. A number of local cultures developed, and many saw shifts in the 16th century away from more densely populated lifestyles and towards policies of restructuring elsewhere.

European colonization of the Americas began in the late 15th century, but most of the colonies that would later become the United States were settled after 1600. By the 1760s, thirteen British colonies included 2.5 million people and were established east of the Atlantic coast

Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement, was founded in

The Boston Tea Incident took place on

Ans. December 16, 1773.
