Responding to feedback from all of our valued Mummies, today, we are thrilled to bring you the esMMY Migration, which will allow your esMMY to be vested in V2 Vaults.
Firstly, we would like to apologize to all Mummies for not retaining some parameters from the old contract, such as MPs or vesting time, etc. Unfortunately, we had to create a whole new contract, so it was beyond our control. Due to the Multichain incidents, the whole ecosystem was adversely affected. However, we want to assure you that we have done our best to protect users’ funds and ensure the security and integrity of the platform. Your safety and satisfaction remain our top priority, and we are actively working to improve and enhance the system to provide you with a seamless and secure experience. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Note: This migration only affects the rewarded esMMY on Fantom V1 and the bonuses esMMY from minting NFT on Optimism
The esMMY migration period will last only for 14 days (August 2nd — August 16th).
We kindly request all users to complete their migration process before the deadline. After the specified period, we will no longer support any migration-related cases. Please ensure you migrate all of your esMMY within the given timeframe.
Migrating Instruction
Note: Each account is eligible for migration only once per vault
Step 1: Withdraw all vesting esMMY from both V1 (https://legacy.mummy.finance/#/earn-v2/vest) and V2 (https://app.mummy.finance/#/earn-v2/vest) Vaults
Step 2: Access https://app.mummy.finance/#/earn-v2/vest
Step 3: Click “Deposit” button
Step 4: Carefully check that you have withdrawn and claimed all of your esMMY from both V1 (https://legacy.mummy.finance/#/earn-v2/) and V2 (https://app.mummy.finance/#/earn-v2/). Then click “Migrate” button
Step 5: Confirm your migration order
Step 6: After Migration done, you can deposit esMMY in Vaults to vest normally on v2 (https://app.mummy.finance/#/earn-v2/vest)
Frequently Asked Questions about esMMY Migration
On Fantom:
- I have been vesting esMMY on V1 for 6 months (with 6 months left to be completed). Will my esMMY continue the vesting time on V2?
It’s out of our control to retain the vesting time left from V1 Vaults, despite our efforts. Consequently, the vesting time will be reset to 1 year. On a positive note, this adjustment will help reduce the MMY inflation, which is good news for MMY holders.
2. I have minted an NFT and received bonuses in esMMY. Does it need to be reserved to be vested on V2?
Bonuses esMMY received from minting Mummy Club NFTs do not require a reserve to continue vesting on V2.
Note: If users have staked bonuses esMMY, received from minting Mummy NFT Club, or MMY, those esMMY will require a reserve to vest
3. I have been staking MLP v1, but it still requires a reserve to be able to vest on v2. What happens?
To vest the esMMY rewarded from staking MLP V1, you will need to have the equivalent amount of MLP V2 as a reserve. You can consider depositing in MLP V2 or staking your esMMY to earn Real Yield rewards, similar to staking MMY.
4. What happened with my MPs after transferring esMMY from V1 to V2?
To transfer esMMY from V1 to V2, you’ll need to unstake them, resulting in the burning of all MPs. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our loyal users. Please understand that this situation is beyond our control, and we have been compelled to create an entirely new contract.
5. Do I need to unstake my esMMY first and then migrate them?
No you don’t. You just have to withdraw and claim your esMMY first. Once users have completed the migration process, they will have the flexibility to unstake esMMY from V1 and vest it in V2 at any time.
6. If I have staked my esMMY in V2 as your announcement, what should I do now?
If you have staked your esMMY, which were originally rewarded from V1, on V2, you will need to migrate your esMMY to be able to vest them in V2 in the future. Follow our instruction above to migrate your esMMY.
On Optimism:
- What type of esMMY is necessary for migration, and what happens to esMMY generated from staking MMY/esMMY/MLP?
Only bonus esMMY that has been generated from the Mummy Club NFTs is eligible for migration. esMMY generated from staking MMY/esMMY/MLP does not need to be migrated and will continue to function as usual.
2. I have staked esMMY/MMY, do I need to stake reserve?
If you have staked esMMY/MMY, the reserve will be utilized for both V1 and V2.
