Megan Murphy is a playwright and dramaturg from New York City; currently based in Glasgow. She received her BFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and is currently pursuing her MLitt in Playwriting & Dramaturgy at the University of Glasgow. Her areas of interest include postcolonial dramaturgies, modern Irish history, and The Real Housewives universe. ​

Megan previously managed marketing & communications for All For One Theatre, and the literary department of Wolk Transfer Company. She provided production and dramaturgical support for shows both on and off Broadway, including Emily Mann's adaptation of Wladyslaw Szpilman's memoir The Pianist, and The Karate Kid: Musical.
