Remaining Forever Employable

Hi ,It’s time again to take you through my journey with TIIDELab. (Kindly read my previous article on this). The second month has gone by in my quest to become self reliance in soft-ware engineer .

it has been an amazing ride so far, with new and exciting things, we were introduced to different technical and non technical aspect of software development to enable us become well sought after developer

The second month in TIIDELab was filled with a lot of activities, from learning JavaScript, to design thinking and Problem solving among others.

Mr. Ibrahim Lukman Kenny demystified various component of software requirements specification for products and discussed how important it is for developers and also introduced us to JavaScript in which he taught us different data types, value type and the different variable declaration in JavaScript.

During the Month, my team and I took it upon ourselves to learn figma, which has helped us improve our UI design, we have design different pages ranging from the landing page, sign in and sign up page and dashboards. we have also started implementing our UI using HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT

Remaining employable Forever

Mr. Salami was also with Lagos were he made an awesome presentation on how to be forever employable. he stressed that for us to be forever employable we should do a reality check on ourselves and make sure we continue learning and improving our skills

Conclusion

Finally, I will also like to appreciate NECA and ITF for sponsoring this fellowship. Also, special appreciation to Mr. Shamsudeen and Ms. Celeste , for making extra time to put us through on our project. A big shout to our tech support officers Mr. Nazi, Arimoro and Bigbay for all the support.

I look forward to learning more and implementing more till I ultimately develop myself.
