Part 1 — Design
We designed RingOne from first Principles. We did extensive research to understand the ways in which users interact with the product, their challenges, pain points, aspirations and goals. With this design thinking, we came up with the best possible user experiences for each of the interactions we identified and still learning as we interact more with the users.
Here are 4 major ways how Ring One’s Design really shines through:
- Aesthetic Design : An all new look for a smart ring
Ring One comes with a band style design. By dividing the ring into three bands, we unlocked the potential for both stunning designs as well as enhanced functionality. This helped us create an aesthetic that bridges the gap between a ring as jewellery/ accessory and a ring as a smart gadget.
A Statement of Boldness and A Symbol for Health.
What’s different
All the other smart rings feature similar unibody minimalist designs. Our vision was to stand out by crafting an iconic design that sets us apart from the competition. We’ve embraced a bold minimalistic aesthetic as our guiding principle. Unlike our competitors, Ring One offers a fresh perspective on what a smart ring can be, seamlessly integrating into your everyday style.
2. Abundant Choices for the users: A wide array of designs.
Our unique three-band design not only allows for a broad spectrum of colors but also opens up possibilities with various materials. This enables us to offer a multitude of design options without altering the core technology.
What’s different
Unlike other competitors who use unibody construction with limited design options, Ring One’s use of various materials allows users to select designs and styles that resonate with their individuality. We also offer limited edition 18K Gold and Rose Gold designs.
3. Turn wheel Interface: Easy way to perform actions with your Ring One
Taking advantage of the band style, the outer band can be rotated to switch between modes. Turning the outer band clockwise/anti clockwise can help you switch to different modes. For example, a turn to the left can start a workout and bringing it back to the center can end the workout. Turning it to the right can enable payments. Once you are done with payments, you can turn it back to keep your payments secure and protect yourself from any phishing.
This is the world’s first one-of-a kind interface we call the “Turn Wheel” .
The interface also comes with a custom haptic feedback to notify about the activation of the modes. (This haptic feedback is part of our stretch goals in the campaign).
What’s different
Ring One is the only smart ring to offer this kind of an interface. This gives you the option to trigger the most important actions without having to remove your phone from the pocket. More importantly, as the other smart rings don’t have payments, they do not offer such an interface to provide additional layers of security.
Did you know?
The Turn wheel is the first-of-its-kind interface for a smart ring ( Patent Pending). It was made possible by miniaturized capacitive sensors and intricate mechanical systems to ensure that the interaction is smooth and intuitive.

In the design of Ring One, our goal was to strike a harmonious balance between exceptional comfort and outstanding performance, and we believe we’ve achieved just that.
Ring One is not only sleek and lightweight but also durable and scratch-resistant. With a range of 10 different sizes, including sizes up to US Size 15, we’ve made it accessible to everyone.
Measuring just 3.2 mm in thickness and 7.6 mm in width, it offers a sleek profile that seamlessly integrates into your style. Its weight, ranging from 3 to 5 grams, ensures an extremely comfortable wearing experience.
All of this comes with a remarkable up to 7-day battery life, while also being equipped with cutting-edge technology to provide advanced health tracking and payment capabilities.
Crafted from Grade 2 Titanium and Ceramic Zirconia with a dual-layer coating (PVD + ePVD) and diamond polishing, Ring One offers an elegant, scratch-resistant surface. Plus, it’s waterproof, so you can wear it without a second thought.

Ring One strikes an amazing balance between size and performance. It’s sleek yet filled with amazing features and has a great battery life. It is also the only smart ring to support size 15. It’s multi-layered coating makes it extremely scratch resistant compared to the other smart rings in the market.
We’ve identified several user pain points associated with owning a Smart Ring, such as misplacing it and struggling to locate it, the need to carry charging cables, and a lack of information about the ring’s charging status while it’s being charged etc.
This led to the conception of our Iconic Charging Case.
Charging case
We completely reimagined what a charging case could do and created completely new features to make your life easier.
- Effortless charging
The charging case extends the battery life of the Ring to a month. So you don’t have to worry about carrying a cable around. More importantly, all you have to do is drop the ring inside the case and it starts charging wirelessly giving you the utmost convenience even on the go. Charging case comes with a Type -C port so that you can use your existing charging cables to charge the case with ease.
What’s different
Ring One is the only smart ring which comes with a Smart charging case. With bluetooth, magic glyph interface, buzzer and more, this is truly a one of a kind offering.
Did you know?
Ring One it the first wearable in the world that uses NFC protocol for Wireless charging as well as payments. This innovation (patent pending) has made it possible to use a single antenna for both charging as well as payments saving a lot of space.
2. Unveiling the Magic glyph interface: Easy interactions with the charging case
Charging case comes with a transparent top lid and LEDs that make important information available at a glance. Be it the charging levels of the ring or the case, low battery alerts or a firmware update in progress, the LEDs always give you the most important information without having to open your phone.

- Utilise the Ring’s sleep tracking to wake you up at the right time with Alarms.
- Employ the LEDs as a countdown timer.
- Assist you with guided breathing sessions.”

For example: Your case can help you relax with a guided breathing session while your ring can track your vitals to see how they improve your stress levels..
Did you know?
Ring determines your best wake-up time using your sleep stage data and shares it with the charging case to wake you up with an alarm buzzer, ensuring you wake up completely refreshed and energetic. You can turn on or turn off all these features in your app control centre.
4. Designed for your peace of mind
Misplacing things and trying to find them in the house is very irritating. So we have designed a “Find my” feature to help you locate your case with ease.

Ring One is the only smart ring to offer such a comprehensive set of features to help users locate their ring. Given the small form factor of the ring and how easily it can be misplaced, we feel this is a must have feature. With Ring One, users can not only locate their lost ring with ease but will also never have to worry about others getting access to their personal data.
