Tip 4: Put your time in: Everyone starts out doing grunt work till trust is proven
If you want personal development then you should do every task your boss assign to you, even a task will give you some learning and in the future if you are at a Managerial Position, your subordinates will not be able to bypass you.
Tip 5: Don’t talk badly about the company or about your boss
He gave very good advice that it will come your way if you talk badly about your boss, because some people are closer to your boss so they can broke the situation. Take good care while talking about boss.
Tip 6: Take control of your relationship with your boss and team members
It is not necessary that I should try to waste my energy in building a strong relationship if boss is ignoring, but a good relationship is quite enough. The need is that I should complete the task assigned to me to build trust. He had a bad experience once, he shared something wrong about his boss with his peer and the boss insulted him indirectly.
Tip 7: Find a mentor and manage the relationship strategically
This was something new for Usman, so he has decided to to build a relationship with a mentor.
Tip 8: Join a professional body and build your network
I have joined almost over 15 organizations and each day I learn something new that is challenging either via social media or technical conferences.
Tip 9: Embrace change and reflect on what you are learning daily
He was strong and he shared about his failure in past, so he suggested me to never quit whatever the task has been assigned to you, try to solve the problems, get advices from teammates and peers, you will definitely find out the solution because what you think can happen.
