Meet Emage

Emage (pronounced image) is an upcoming music artist born and raised in New York City. He is currently residing in the lower Eastside of Manhattan.

Emage has always had a strong love for music. It developed through his exposure as a young kid. His father played drums at their local church, which lead Emage to playing the drums as well. When he was 14, he was in his first of many bands playing the drums. They were called Kalaka and played metal music. He was the youngest member in the band by far, the other members were a lot older than he was. After years of playing the drums, he slowly shifted over from metal to hip-hop music. He loved how the 808’s drove the songs and he wanted to emulate that. His only goal is to make people bob their heads when they hear his songs. That is what drives him, and that is why he started making beats.

Emage makes mainly hip-hop, trap, and R&B music. He is a pretty well-versed artist in other genres as well. So far, his tracks with some of the members of 808 Mafia are taking off. He has about six or seven tracks with them. There are about seven other tracks that he has not put out yet on his beat store. Southside of 808 Mafia is his all time inspiration. Wheezy from YSL, Pyrex Whippa, Yk808 and ATL Jacob from 808 Mafia also inspire Emage greatly.

Emage quit his job to pursue music full-time. It is pretty rough, as the music industry can be. He is on the grind daily by constantly reaching out to artists, promoting his track of social platforms, and submitting entires to beat competitions and polishing his craft. Music takes up all of his time, and he loves being apart of the music movement. Emage’s ultimate goal is to stand out. He has the image and is waiting for the right people to see and hear him at the right time. The world of hip-hop and trap music is highly oversaturated and everyone is riding the common waves. He is here to change that.
