Upcoming Artist J Breeze

Meet Justin Bryant, also known as J Breeze. He is a 32 year old music artist from Beaver Falls, PA.

He started messing around with and having fun doing freestyles when he was 15 years old. It was not until he was 19 that he started taking it more serious and started writing his music on paper.He produced his first song with another local artist by the name of Seth Whitted. He eventually fell in love with creating music. He started recording on a webcam mic and used “Cool Edit 2” to record with his cousin. He was not sure what he was doing exactly, but he was open and excited about making music. J Breeze and his cousin made an album with about 14 tracks. This was the start of his journey and passion. His cousin went to prison and J Breeze went on and made two homemade projects. They were called The Blacchole Project (2008) and Last Of A Dying Breed. He then took a break from music after he started a relationship with a girl and did not write another song until 2012.

He struggled to write songs after and his brother was dying of cancer, which made writing even harder. Life hit J Breeze hard and he did not write music between 2015–2019. Between kids and personal issues he lacked motivation. In June of 2019 he was able to record and get back into the groove of things. He dedicates his music to his brother he lost in 1993 and his second brother he lost in 2013.

J Breeze’s style is unorthodox, but his main genre is rap/ hip hop. He is very versatile, because he just loves making music in general. He hears a beat and lets the energy guide him. His recognizable track is titled, “Where I’m From.” One day he thought to himself that he needed to make more of a show in the music scene, which led him to making music with a more new age beat. He received great reviews and refueled his confidence as an artist. Since then, he has dropped a song a week with really good reviews on all of them.

Artists that inspire him are TUpac, Biggie, Jay-Z, Master P, Nipsey, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, and Tech N9ne for his independent hustle. J Breeze plans on getting his name noticed by any means. He is dedicated, passionate, and ready to take on the world of music. His motto is #ApplyingPressureAll2021 and he lives by that.
