How many calories you need in a single day depends on your:

Sex, Body type,Activities

Generally active children of 2 to 8 year need 1,400 and 2,000 calories in a day. Without gaining weight,teenage girls and women consume 2,200 calories a day.Active teenage boys and men consume 3,000 calories a day to maintain their weight.If you are not active, your calorie needs drop by 400 to 600 calories a day.

Physician Dr.Donald Novey says: “Pull away from the table when you’re comfortable but not yet full.Wait about 20 minutes.Usually your body says, ‘that’s good.’If you are still hungry after that, you might want to eat a little more.”

In humans, an unhealthy diet cause various diseases such as blindness, anemia, scurvy and cretinism.Healthy eating doesn’t have to be overly complicated. If you feel overwhelmed by all the conflicting nutrition and diet advice out there, you’re not alone. It seems that every nutritionist who tells you a certain food is good for you, you’ll find the other saying exactly the opposite. The truth is that while some specific nutrients have beneficial effect on your mood, it’s your overall dietary pattern this is very important . Eating those foods which are close to organic nature make a huge difference to the way you look, feel and think.

This eating pyramid represents the latest nutritional science. The widest part at the bottom is for things that are most important in our life .The foods at the narrow top are those that should be eaten sparingly ,if at all.
