Your Future Your Choice

For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught.

The plethora of advice was as varied as it was migraine inducing. It came from all corners. Some helped. Some hurt. Some was well-intentioned. Some was full of crap. Some was simply self-serving. Said to make the speaker feel like they expressed an iota of interest in what I was going through.

Give yourself permission to find your own way. Use your own instincts when it comes to taking action. There will be doubt but be bold. Don’t be afraid to be different. Only this can take you to your dreams.

For what is a man, what has he got?
 If not himself, then he has naught.

 And not the words of one who kneels.
