Couldn’t agree more Tony. I think many people who pile on Rubio just look at stats and don’t watch many Wolves games. Last year, so many games followed this same pattern: Competitive game in the 3rd quarter, Rubio would rest, wolves go down by 15–20, Rubio comes back in, wolves comeback falls short and they lose by 2–6 pts. Rubio was not the problem with this team last year. It was more about lack of any scoring from the bench and Wiggins/Towns didn’t always buy in to playing defense. I’d be crushed if they ever traded Rubio, especially when I hear about the other options (Derek Rose? George Hill? No thanks).
