Right and left are relative terms….if Nazi Germany was “right” and the Iron Curtain was “left”, then your characterization of our current politic is inaccurate.

We are all prisoners of our preconceptions. Specifically, indoctrinated people don’t know they are indoctrinated….they think they are “normal”.

Every politician is beholding….period. This is why a “benevolent dictator” is arguably the best political system. Unfortunately power corrupts …..which is why the power of government must be restrained.

Taxes support the limited constitutional duties of our government. Progressive theory is not sustainable because it fails to take into account basic human nature and the fact that in the end limited resources must be allocated in some manner…..things must be paid for. You can call anything you want a human right, but nobody has a “right” to a limited resource.
