Eric Gu Invited to Deliver a Speech at Cryptospace Moscow

The Metaverse Foundation was invited to attend the Cryptospace Conference held in Moscow, Russia on December 8.

Hosted by our partner fundraising platform KICKICO, the Cryptospace Conference is the largest Blockchain and Cryptocurrency conference in Eastern Europe and expects a turnout of 3,000 participants from over 30 countries this year. 44 speakers and more than 100 professional journalists were in attendance.

The Metaverse Foundation is honored to be the only Chinese blockchain company selected to give a speech at the conference. Eric Gu, founder of the Metaverse Foundation, gave a presentation titled “Digital Identity In Blockchains” at the conference.

During his speech, Eric introduced the unique features of Metaverse’s Digital Identity and BaaS (Blockchain as a Service) concepts as well as the ongoing development of the Metaverse blockchain ecosystem. Regarding digital identities, Eric expressed:

“Digital identity is a key enabler of the development and application of blockchain technology. However, in many of the existing blockchain protocols, the issue of identity is often neglected, causing a ‘missing link’. Metaverse put forward its own unique concept of digital identity. Metaverse’s digital identity will be based on the existing blockchain ecosystem, and will be used in digital identity applications through BaaS and wallets, providing digital identity services for ordinary users with verification and authentication functions. This will further promote rapid development of digital assets on the blockchain.”

Digital identity was a popular topic of discussion during the conference, and many experts predicted that digital identity would form the next heavyweight application on the blockchain during their presentations.

After his speech, Eric was interviewed by several of the organizers’ media partners and shared his first steps into the blockchain industry as well as his thoughts on the current development of the blockchain industry in China. He indicated:

“Blockchain technology is the future. China’s blockchain industry is steadily developing. As for Metaverse, ZenGold, the first application based on the Metaverse Blockchain, has been launched successfully. In the meantime, more projects are being carried out as planned. Metaverse’s digital identity of has attracted many collaborators. The Metaverse ecosystem is bound to continuously develop and grow.”
