It really seems this kind of mentality is on the rise. Although not exactly the same thing, I am always blown away by how people handle their forum questions/responses. It often takes me half an hour or more to respond with in-depth explanations, code examples, further readings etc… Sometimes there is not even a single response, even though I am quite sure it helped. If it did not help, there usually would be a response ;) I love explaining stuff to people and it helps me a lot to become a better dev as well, but a lot of them take this for granted these days…
