Frikkin Awesome :) I’ve implemented a similar scenario and encountered the same problems (processes, terminals and fzf not playing well together), ended up using a monstrous solution of launching a tmuxinator session with the fzf finder baked in. It still left a terminal open after fzf launch but at least I could close it without killing the program and the whole thing worked. I imagine your solution should be multitudes snappier, as this whole stack and zsh in particular isn’t snappy at all, as you might imagine :)
To be honest this whole thing should be it’s own abstraction, gui-fzf or something, and there probably will be some contenders in this space in the future.
