The story feature on Instagram is a bit mysterious, we can all agree on that, but perhaps there is something that we can do to improve its benefits.
Artists like supporting each other, that’s how the community functions, and that’s what makes the community more cohesive and better. I often see artists sharing too many story slides on their pages, sometimes more than 20 story slides at a time. This decreases the chance of your audience engaging with each artist that you are trying to support. Posting too many slides will likely result in no engagement since people will skip through them only to get rid of the notification or they are doing it out of a bad habit.
Instead, maybe you should share only 4 to 5 story slides a day to make your stories more focused and to give these artists a better chance at having engagement with their posts. This is only a personal opinion and observation.
Let me know if that makes sense or if you have a different opinion.
As always, keep drawing, and have a good day!
