Hugh Everett III, an American physicist who first proposed the relative state formulation in 1957, later became better known as the Many-Worlds Interpretation (MWI) of quantum mechanics.

In this theory, we actually experience, and this 'we' has infinite numbers, every possibility of existence.

We may in this possibility experience one truth, but there are other versions of ourselves that expereience every possibility so that we might conclude that in some ultimate sense there is a 'me,' that is a totality of every possibility.

It is an intriguing idea.
