Today’s economy is progressively becoming more digitally enabled, therefore industries are embracing digital technologies to compete globally. The digital enabled economies improve output and income, creates job opportunities, thereby increasing employment. However, to qualify for one of these jobs, applicants will be required to be proficient in the STEM, including skills in creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.

Although STEM skills are preferred in the technology market, research suggests that females receive far fewer degrees in Computer Science than their male colleagues. Some research suggests that women feel unsure in their abilities to excel at STEM subjects.

The solution to increasing the presence of girls in science is simple. Make an efficient and honest effort to incorporate STEM into your daily life, from social outings to science fair projects, or buying innovative science kits for girls, can inspire young girls to pursue STEM education and careers.
