VC’s are vultures and that’s being nice. I have two computer science degrees from Berkeley and have had more than a few encounters with VCs, all indirectly. By indirect I mean I didn’t pursue them or start a business, our lives intersected. I’ve consulted from them and I’ve worked for entrepreneurs who used VC funding. To call VCs animals is an insult animals. VCs are the pop rocks of people. Their noisy and obnoxious when you chew them and have zero nutritional value. The fail 9/10 times and openly admit it. Of course they blame the people they invest in. But what can one expect? The are patrons. They control people. Who wants to control people except people who want to control others? Their technical incompetence is only surpassed by their management incompetence. As a male I can say that unless you kiss their *** you are going to get **** on. Donald Trump is a pretty good reflection of the kind of narcissistic, negative personalities they all have. Occasionally people ask me about my experience with VCs and I tell them only take their money if you want to fail 9/10 times and you wanted to be degraded, humiliated, and kiss *** while you are doing it. VCs are control freaks. Their appointments to “help” are incompetent busy bodies and their appointed executives look good in mug shots. They use their money to get their friends jobs. I cannot imagine ever having such low self-esteem as to submit a business proposal to a VC.
What I’m trying to say is that my experience with VCs is they are the bottom of the barrel of humanity and to expect otherwise is shear lunacy.
