I agree with all the sentiments expressed in this piece, and the responses to it. It applies to so many broken systems, including how they can be fixed. Placing faith in one person can only be met with disappointment, more resentment and more promises. If everyone involved takes charge and works with the same motive to bring change that’s when true change can only be seen.

This piece deserves more likes than it has. My only regret is having just one.
