Easy ways to improve your Score
So you finally decided to Sign-Up and get your Careerscore, yay! But after finishing up your profile you get a low number, what’s that about? You demand answers, we are ready to give them to you.
Take a recent graduate who has just been hired as an entry-level web developer. Their score would likely be low, and understandably so. Whoa. Rhymes. Anyway, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a bad score. It’s simply a reflection of where they’re at in their career journey. Again, experience is fluid and will change and grow, as will your score.

To illustrate what else might influence a lower score, let’s take someone who has been working as a web developer for quite some time, perhaps even as a “Senior Web Developer” most recently. This individual, however, has not been keeping up with recent job trends in their field, and they have failed to acquire new skills and experience with technology that is now in high demand. Tisk-tisk.
While this person has been content with their stagnation, other professionals in the same position (Senior Web Developer) have been working hard to stay current.Fist bump. This should be a wake-up call to those who have ample experience, but who allow their toolbox to fall out of date — not only compared to their professional peers, but also to the current demands of employers at large.
It pays to take initiative and put in the time. Literally. It literally pays more. Of course, money isn’t why we’re in this. We want to work hard, and improve, and be better, and all that. But money is cool, too. And, hey, whatever motivates you to go above and beyond, use it. In fact, I believe it was Gandhi who once wisely said, “Whatever floats your boat…” That guy is so slick. Well, here at Careerscore, we say, “Whatever makes your score soar…” Rhyme game is on point right now. we’re crushing it? Are you feeling it, too?

You can either choose to be disappointed and discouraged because someone else has more experience, or you can choose to embrace and be empowered by what you discover you have to do in order to be where some of your respected peers are in their careers.
We’re getting the feeling that you’re going to choose the latter, since you’re here with me, which clearly means you A) have great taste, and B) are a go-getter who is ready to grow and do what it takes to get to the next level professionally. I’m pretty jazzed that We get to be a part of that journey with you. Yes, I just said “jazzed.” You loved it.
