How mycujoo.tv is changing Facebook pages from the inside

Social media are a key aspect of today’s communication. In one way or another, the best part of humanity, even many of those who don’t have access to clean water, is connected via these postmodern highways and piazzas. Through their channels, social media have given space to friendships and love; they have been the protagonist of creative interactions and political revolutions; they have shaped and reshaped how we interact with the internet and even our next door neighbor; and, of course, they have changed how mainstream media interact with the public. Think about how many TV shows now offer the viewers the chance to send questions via Twitter or Facebook.
Considering all this, even before starting our adventure, we clearly realized mycujoo could not exist outside the social media world: it would have been like starting a revolution marching down the streets without a megaphone, quite literally with no chances of being heard or followed.
This said, we wanted more: being one of those media that build their own Facebook account and try to make it big wasn’t enough. We wanted to enable small clubs and leagues to grow their own presence on social media.
That’s when we realized we needed to build a Facebook app to allow each and every team to place their own TV channel on their own Facebook page. You heard it right: we decided to give everyone the chance to turn a FB account into a proper sport channel dedicated to a particular team. Our dream was a social media made of a myriad of small ESPNs or FOX Sports just one click away, all available without paying a single euro to install the app, obtain the rights to do so, broadcast the content or watch a match. We immediately understood the idea was revolutionary. Think about how many A-level teams have their own medium: Milan Channel, Roma TV, Barça TV, Real Madrid TV … you name it. We are talking about channel over channel, which you need to pay for, where clubs spend millions to promote their own brands, their own products, their own players and their own events.
An idea that ignites millions of ideas
mycujoo is the gateway, the tool small and medium clubs need to create their own branding opportunities, and earn a visibility that would otherwise require millions of euros and dozens of complicated contracts. And the great thing about it is that our door is open to everyone: we enable teams and leagues to get what they need, because our strength comes from the quality of the product we offer, not from fees or binding agreements, and these Facebook Tv Channels are no exception to the rule.
Teams and clubs can open the doors of their training sessions, or even their offices, to their fans; they can set up a funny event and involve all their Facebook followers. They can do all this from their free FB TV Channel.
And this is just a small part of what mycujoo.tv can do and is doing to change the football universe forever. Football democratisation is, once again, a step closer, and it didn’t cost you a penny.
