Frema
100 Story Challenge — 58 of 100
Frema absolutely adored the rain. She saw it as a way for the world to cleanse itself of all the unpleasantries that occurred so that a new day could proceed fresh and innocent of the sins of yesterday.
That’s what she thought as she stood at the window, watching as the raindrops trickled down the windowpane.
The sprinkle of water reminded her of the tears she had shed earlier that day. Tears she had shed because of the sad news she had received.
The world had been cleansed of one more sin. That, she was sure of. But it still made her ache.
What is This?
Inspired by Zane Dickens, I am taking part in the 100 Story Challenge. Publishing a micro story a day for 100 days.
