We’re thrilled to have globaliD co-founder and CEO Greg Kidd included in One World Identity’s (OWI) 2019 list of Top 100 Influencers in Identity.

According to OWI’s announcement, their annual list “represents pioneers, innovators and visionaries who are working to advance inclusion, improve products and services, keep personal data safe, and protect privacy.”

(Don’t forget to check out our interview with OWI founder Travis Jarae.)

Next week, Greg, along with globaliD co-founder and CTO Mitja Simcic, will be joining their industry colleagues at OWI’s KNOW Conference (March 24–27) in Vegas, one of the premier identity-centric events of the year.

If you’re in town, be sure to stop by their speaker sessions on March 26:

10:30AM — Launching Payments for the Next Billion (Mitja):

Tapping into global markets is the key to sustaining growth, but successful international launches require much more than simply translating your website and terms of service into a new language. Join payments leaders and policy experts for this discussion on how global brands are tackling the unique identity, regulatory, and cultural challenges to successfully expand into new markets.

11:30AM — #FakeNews — How We Can Ensure Election and Information Integrity (Greg):

2018 was the year of the “breach of trust.” We learned that not all security threats involve hacking, theft, or even violations of platform terms of service. Ensuring integrity of information — reliably telling real users from fake, and true information from false — is an existential challenge both for our tech innovators and our policymakers. This panel invites platforms and solution providers to talk about how they’re tackling persistent information and guarding against its consequences.

We hope to see you there, and stay tuned for more as the event gets closer!
