It’s just 40 minutes.

It’s not so simple. It’s an accumulation of 40 Minutes Extra every Earth Day forever and ever till the Universe stops Expanding or Galactus finally eats us.

In 36 Earth Days, Mars would have lost one (1) day or is it gained?

To fix this, we’d need some form a universal time system. Or else, we’d face the same problem when we move to Europa.
