The Big Bash League (BBL) is Australia’s premier Twenty20 cricket competition. It is contested by eight teams from across the country, and is one of the most popular sporting leagues in Australia. Rules of the Big Bash League:

The rules of the Big Bash League are the same as the rules of Twenty20 cricket. However, there are a few additional rules that are specific to the BBL. These include:

The Power Surge: Each team is allowed to take a Power Surge during their innings. This allows the batting team to score double runs for two overs.
The Bash Boost: The team that wins the toss gets to choose which end they will bat first from. The team that bats first can also score double runs for the last six overs of their innings if they are behind on the scoreboard.
