Great post!
Ellis Taylor

On one side, I think my project is the most amazing project in the world. And on the other, I have a creeping fear that I am wasting my time on shit.

The best way I found to overcome the “Depression Demons” is by simply taking it out of the equations by setting a concrete set of work that you will do no matter what.

It’s not like you stress over taking a shower or brushing your teeth. Simply make working on your startup a “Mandatory Habit.” Once it become mandatory, you’ll be working on your startup before your “Depression Demons” comes knocking.

For example: I write a public journal no matter what. And I’ve been writing a public journal despite zero traffic. I work on my startup as I brush my teeth. It’s simply an automated routine.

Hope that helps :)

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
