Here are my recreations of some apps I had to recreate design-wise to the best of my abilities using Adobe XD. I really enjoyed using Adobe XD because I’m familiar with Adobe Ai/Ps/ID so it seemed a little more natural when it came to learning the basics. Some challenges I faced were not all the symbols that the plugins provided were identical or remotely close so I had to make a few. Another one is font matching. I found very useful the “layout grid” when placing items/symbols/images on the screen. The actual square grid hurt my eyes a little so I just made my own guidelines to help me keep things in their correct spots. All of my recreations are the image on the right.
