Most people point to price, availability, hardware and the like for reasons VR is still lagging. All valid but not the core reasons in my view. One big reason VR has been lagging is that the uses and content are focused on entertainment. Most people’s lives are already over saturated with entertainment and already in more convenient forms (iPhones, tvs). Most people don’t need more and many want less of it.
