Adam has done the appropriate research, as usual. You can argue until the sun sets, but until electric cars stop using electricity produced by fossil fuels, the story is absolutely true. If these cars could generate their own electricity via solar power, then maybe they could be much cleaner. Until then, we’re just putting the ‘emissions’ one step away from the car, and that just doesn’t make them clean.
