Enhancing Myria: Node Referrals Improvements and Login Optimization
The Myria team has been continuously working behind the scenes and we’re happy to share two exciting new updates!
Myria Node Referrals Got Better
Over 30% of all Myria Node License purchases since the public node sale began have come through referrals. To simplify the referral process, we’ve added a new feature on the Myria website that confirms using a valid referral code. Buyers will be able to easily verify their code by following the URL shared by an existing node owner or by inputting the unique code provided.
With the addition of the referral code indicator, prospective node license buyers can confidently use their codes, providing a smoother purchasing experience. This update helps expand our network by making it easier for new node owners to join and support Myria’s ecosystem. The improvements to node referrals are already live on the Myria website!
Myria Login Optimization
Email and Password Sign-In
Our second update focuses on one of the most common problems in the Web3 space — onboarding new users. Starting this July, we’ll be optimizing the login process on Myria to allow users to register with just an email, and eliminate the need for a crypto wallet at the initial registration stage. This change is aimed at supporting both first-party and third-party applications building on the Myria ecosystem, as well as users who are new to the Web3 space.
This will be an option for both existing and new users on our platform. It will allow community members to access their Myria identity across various applications without needing their MetaMask wallet for every single interaction. If you’re an existing user, worry not, as your blockchain assets on Myria’s Layer 2 will still be securely connected to your MetaMask wallet and can only be accessed via a MetaMask signature.
Reset Password Feature
In July, Myria users will also be able to reset their passwords through the settings menu. This feature will boost account security and ensure that all users can maintain access to their accounts at all times.
Simplified Onboarding
All of the above means a much simpler onboarding process for games and other applications, allowing players to sign in using email and password initially. Over time, users can transition to using the Myria Wallet to fully leverage the power of the Myria ecosystem for sending and receiving digital assets.
