You know the reason project managers need not apply? Because this is generation Y (now), not generation Madonna or AS400 or even worst Sputnik.
Who you need to hire are individuals who can join — bring vision, objectives, goals and timelines together in the mind and in open spaces. The second most important trait is to keep seduction level on — beautiful and powerful seduction will keep people tempted & alive. If you don’t this is what will happens….
….50% or more project fail even with project managers at the helm. Those statistics are as bad as the likely hood of you remaining married in the first two years.
What you need to do is create a seduction and a joiner layer. Each layer working to keep the other in check. Like the heart and mind.

What you need are seducers & joiners who can use new tools like Evernote to run projects like a journey not a plan, setup meetings without technology to talk about progress & problems, have space to focus on one thing & then on many things, have an idea or vision that has complete support and understanding, and the ability to visualize everything.
