That’s a tough one. Sorry to hear it. I’m a fan of the show and have been for years, so you sort of feel like you know the people involved, even though they’re clearly characters on a show, and no, I don’t know them at all.

I think if it had been Sex & the City and you’d been a BF of Sarah Jessica Parker’s at the time it was starting up, and you had split up, it could have been the exact same situation. Without owning a piece of the show, no one’s going to fight to keep you around when it’s just getting started and chemistry is everything.

You did the right thing by breaking it off, and it sounds like they made a tough choice in letting you go to salvage the chemistry. This is a big part of why couples shouldn’t work together. Live and learn I guess.
