The contribution of technology in education cannot be denied. Technology has become an integral part of all aspects of our lives, starting from the electronic to the educational spheres. It has become a boon for the academicians who are involved in the study of technology. However, it is often overlooked by the public as most of them remain ignorant about the role technology has in education. The negative impact of technology on education has often been quoted, but the positive contribution of technology in education sector cannot be mentioned as well.

The first thing to be understood is that it plays a vital role in educating the next generation of scientists and engineers. It offers quality science and engineering subjects at top class educational institutes. These fields are in high demand and the young students are interested in pursuing a career in this sector. The curriculum of the colleges and universities is also focused on technology-based subjects which makes the students knowledgeable about new technologies.

Technological advancements and innovative thinking of the faculty of scientists and professors in the different universities have given rise to the creation of numerous technology related journals and books. The best of such books can play a pivotal role in imparting knowledge about science and technology. This then leads to a gradual improvement in the human resources, as more people are encouraged to pursue higher studies related to technology. The human resource department of any organization is made up of professionals who have a strong interest in technology and this in turn helps in improving the education sector.

Another significant area where technology has a great contribution is in the human resources department of any organization. There are plenty of companies that have started to rely on technology in their day to day activities. They use technology in performing their routine tasks, which results in increased productivity, flexibility and improved efficiency. The human resource departments of these organizations are made up of well-educated and experienced professionals who have a strong interest in technology and know how to implement it in their work.

Technology has also made its contribution to education. A lot of innovative teaching materials are being manufactured which facilitate the learning process. Since technology helps in increasing the speed of learning, it becomes easier for students to retain information. These novel teaching materials are being used by different educational organizations as a tool to promote science and technology.

The other areas in which technology plays a huge part in education is the digitalization of everything. The computer has become an indispensable part of our life which has opened several doors for improving education. A number of colleges and universities are making use of the technology to enhance their learning experience and make the curriculum interesting. Computer based programs which involve minimal interaction with the students are being developed. This enables the students to learn more easily and quickly than the traditional methods.

Education is becoming an important step towards economic growth. More people are taking up the study of technology as a career these days. Most of the human resources have also started to consider education as a skilled job and hence students looking to pursue higher studies in the technology-related fields are encouraged a lot. The main reason behind this is that human resource departments are gaining confidence in the skills of their employees through technology-based curriculum.

Another interesting aspect is that the curriculum being developed now-a-days is far more interactive and flexible than the old style of education. A combination of computers, Internet and multimedia has made the learning process easier and interesting. There are many institutes offering degree courses in technology related fields. A few years back, those looking for higher studies in technology would have to rely on traditional universities and colleges, but today the situation is completely different. With more people choosing this profession for better job prospects, the demand for good quality education in this area has also increased.
