The Charminar is the signature of Hyderabad like Eiffel Tower is of Paris and Taj Mahal is of Agra. The founder of Hyderabad is Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah. He built Charminar in 1591 at the center of the original city layout.There are total 149 steps to reach on the top of the Charminar. From the first floor balcony you can see the Golkonda Fort. The beautiful stucco work in motifs of flowers and animals is unique. Around the Charminar there is also much to see and buy as exquisite zardozi work, henna and fabric for salwar suits to kohl.

Birla mandir also called as Venkateswara temple. It is located on the south end of Hussain Sagar Lake. The Birla mandir is fully made up of white marble. It is situated on the Kala Pahad. The inner shrine of the temple has an 11ft tall replica of Tirupati Venkateswara.

The Golkonda Fort is one of the historical place to visit in Hyderabad. It is also known as Golkonda or Golla Konda. It is originally built in mud on a 400ft hill. It is located 11km away from the bustling urbanism of Hyderabad.It is also a tehsil of Hyderabad district, Telangana. The region is known for the mines that have produced some of the world’s most famous gems, including the Koh-i-Noor, the Hope Diamond and the Nassak Diamond. Golkonda actually consists of four distinct forts with a 10 km long outer wall with 87 semicircular bastions (some still mounted with cannons), eight gateways, and four drawbridges, with a number of royal apartments and halls, temples, mosques, magazines, stables, etc. inside. The whole of the Golkonda Fort complex and its surrounding spreads across 11 km of total area, and discovering its every nook is an arduous task. The ventilation of the fort is absolutely having tropical designs. The huge gates are decorated with large pointed iron spikes.

Snow world in Hyderabad is a very pleasant park. It is situated within an area of about 2 acres. It is the biggest snow park in the world. It is the most popular and the most crowded tourist attractions in the city of Hyderabad.

The Salar Jung Museum is located at Darushifa, on the southern bank of the Musi river in Hyderabad. It is the third National Museum of India. It has total 38 galleries spread over three buildings. This museum houses one of the biggest one-man collections of antiques of the world by Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III. It has a collection of sculptures, paintings, carvings, textiles, manuscripts, ceramics, metallic artefacts, carpets, clocks, and furniture from Japan, China, Burma, Nepal, India, Persia, Egypt, Europe, and North America. It is well known throughout India for its prized collections belonging to different civilizations.

Hussain Sagar is a lake in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, built by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali in 1562, during the rule of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah. It is spread across an area of 5.7 square kilometers and is fed by River Musi. A large monolith statue of the Gautama Buddha, built in 1992 which was established by senior N.T.R. and it stands in an island in the middle of the lake. Maximum depth of lake is 32 feet. An 18 meter high monolith statue of Lord Buddha towers over the lake from atop the Rock of Gibraltar. The statue was chiseled out of a white granite rock, weighing 450 tons. It was carved by 200 sculptors for two years.Lumbini park is an urban park of 7.5 acres adjacent to Hussain Sagar. It was constructed at a cost of INR 2.35 crores on 5 acres of land as a part of the Buddha Poornima project.
