Self-care includes setting healthy boundaries. They are rules and limitations we set that determine how people treat us. More importantly they set the standard for how much we love and respect ourselves.

Being comfortable saying “No” to people and things that don’t feel right for you might feel hard at times. Often we feel (or have been taught) we have to go with the flow and accept people/ life as is.

Boundary setting is important for our overall well-being and mental health. Having them and implementing them within our work, family, romantic, and social life is crucial. Actually it’s mandatory!
