Esports is a growing industry that has gained so much popularity in recent years. It’s more than just a hobby and it’s more than just playing video games. Esports is considered to be a sport because of the amount of skill, strategy, teamwork and dedication it takes to become great at it.

What are Esports?

Esports is a term used to describe competitive video gaming. It is a growing industry with huge amounts of money involved and has its own professional players, teams, commentators and venues.

Esports are played in front of live audiences but they can also be broadcasted on TV and live streamed online. The most popular games include: League of Legends (LoL), Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO).

The tournaments for these games are held at various locations around the world with millions of dollars worth of prize money up for grabs.

The popularity of esports has increased over the last few years and it’s easy to see why. The games are fast-paced, exciting and fun to watch. Plus they’re a great way for people with different interests to bond.
