The Bill Gates “Robot Tax” is as quaint as it is wrong

Surely you must see that It’s easily as quaint and over-simplistic to say “automation doesn’t eliminate jobs just creates better ones” as it is to say it eliminates them. The easy and obvious truth is that people who are losing jobs the fastest are given a set of options they feel are worse than coal mines. That creates a social-political situation we must address or some ugly things start to happen.
