Here is an article on The Dhul Hajj Virtues, Things to Do in the First 10 Days of Zill Hajj offered by our travel organization with the Umrah Packages 2022 from Glasgow. In Islam, the month of Dhul Hajj is one of the most significant months. This is Eid al-Adha month, as well as Hajj month. Dhul Hajj is the final month of the Islamic calendar, and it commemorates Ibrahim A.S. and his son Ismail A.S.’s sacrifice. Muslims travel to Saudi Arabia to undertake Hajj and celebrate Eid al-Adha by sacrificing animals for the pleasure of Allah Almighty during this holy month.

With the beginning of this holy month, Muslims from all over the world began a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage to Mecca for Hajj. Those who are unable to perform Hajj may perform certain extraordinary acts during the first ten days of Dhul Hajj. These ten days are the greatest of the year, and we must take advantage of them if we are unable to go on pilgrimage during this period. We don’t know if we’ll survive to see the next Dhul Hajj, therefore make the most of the days by doing some unique things.

There is no action finer in Allah’s sight or more generously rewarded than a good deed done in the first ten days of Al-Adha, our beloved Prophet PBUH remarked. Not even Jihad for Allah’s sake? it was queried. Not even Jihad for Allah’s sake, the Prophet PBUH said, unless a man goes out himself for Jihad, taking his riches with him, and does not return with anything. The following are some acts of worship that should be performed during the first blessed 10 days of Dhul Hajj to achieve Almighty Allah’s favor.

• Perform the Hajj and Umrah rituals: Without a doubt, performing Umrah and Hajj on these auspicious days is the finest thing one can do. The Prophet PBUH was asked which conduct is better, Abu Hurairah R.A narrated. Belief in Allah and His Messenger, he said. Then what, he was asked? Jihad for Allah’s sake, he said. Then what, he was asked? An acceptable Hajj, he said.

• Fasting: The first nine days of the Hajj are ideal for fasting. We should endeavor to fast for the entire nine days leading up to Eid al-Adha, as fasting on the day of Eid is prohibited. If one cannot fast for the entire nine days, one should fast on the ninth day of Dhul Hajj. Because the Prophet PBUH advised us to do good acts at this time and fasting is one of the finest.

• Give Charity: This holy month of Dhul Hajj has extra advantages, so make use of them by giving charity. No matter how much we provide, always remember that whoever donates to Allah’s cause receives a multiplier when He returns it to them. Use this month to establish a practice of donating to charity, no matter how tiny.

• Offer an Animal Sacrifice: Offering an animal sacrifice is one of the positive actions that would bring a person closer to Allah Almighty during these glorious ten days. The Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim A.S. is revived through the sacrifice of an animal. He A.S was willing to give up everything for Allah Almighty, including surrendering his beloved son as a sacrifice, and he obeyed Allah’s orders without question.

• Make repentance: Allah likes people who truly repent and submit to Him. Be sorry for your misdeeds and disobedience and make a solemn commitment to never return to sin and to follow Allah’s way.
