Easy Homemade Granola

my first thought everytime I eat something delicious: can I make this at home? and granola is one of that delicious something yum!
so I’ve done some research on many cooking recipes, not all of the ingredients are easy to find and affordable in Indonesia so I modified it a bit. it’s easy to make and good for your health! especially for those who’s on diet ;p
you might find this ingredients measurement a bit weird because I convert it from cup to grams and add or subtract it adjusting to the preference. I also not into sweets, so I reduce the amount of the sugar a lil bit. so here it is:
It’ll make about one full medium jar
Ingredients:
180 grams rolled oats
100 grams slivered almond (any other nuts will do as delicious)
50 grams rice krispies (you can substitute it with cereal if you want)
25 grams brown sugar
80 grams honey
70 grams vegetable oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celcius,
- Mix all the dry ingredients — all except honey, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract — in a big bowl until well incorporated,
- Combine all the wet ingredients in a separate bowl, stir until well combined,
- Pour the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients bowl, mix well until all coated with the liquid mixture,
- Layer a baking sheet with non-stick parchment paper, or just rub it with butter
- Spread the granola mixture evenly throughout the baking sheet
- Bake it for 30–40 minutes but stir it every 10 minutes to make sure the granola is evenly cooked and browned — so it will be 3 to 4 times 10-minutes-bake and then stir in between
- Take your baking sheet out from the oven, stir for the last time. At this time, your granola will be soft but as it cool it will harden and get crispier, I know it’s hard to resist but be patient!
- After it’s cooled completely, move it to a jar to keep it fresh and crispy. You can store it for about 3–4 days.
You can adjust it according to your preferences.
Granola is a very delicious and healthy snack. You can eat it on its own or with another meal like smoothie bowl, ice cream, or yogurt just like I did right after I made my granola.

Hope you can try it at your home and like it. Enjoy and let me know how you did! ;)
