KAUAI BEACH VILLAS REVIEW
Aloha! Are you looking for a beachfront bargain when you take that long-anticipated vacation to the lovely garden island of Kauai? Read on for accommodations that will please every family member!
We stayed on the island of Kauai for nine days in February, 2017. We found Kauai Beach Villas on the Vacation Rentals By Owner, otherwise known as the VRBO website. The description and pictures provided were exactly what we were looking for; and the price, within our budget, seemed too good to be true!
As we opened the door to our unit, the spacious master bedroom was thru the door on our immediate left. We dropped off our suitcases and took a quick look around our room. Clean, fresh, and room to spread out our hiking and snorkel equipment, as well as a generous closet with ample hangers for any clothes we wanted to hang up during our stay. Roomy dresser drawers would hold all other clothing and our beach bag. We noted that the en suite bathroom was sparkling clean, with a well stocked supply of towels, wash cloths, paper goods, and soaps. There was even a navy blue wash cloth for makeup removal! We hastily left our suitcases and went to explore the remainder of the condo.
The entry hallway from the front door opened into an airy sun filled living room with a full glass wall/sliding doors view of the ocean. We couldn’t resist running straight to the lanai to enjoy the stunning view of the ocean. I kid you not, we saw three whales cruising playfully through the waves…just yards from our lanai! The palm trees were swaying gently with the ocean breeze, the sand and surf beckoned! All within three minutes of stepping out onto our lanai!
During our stay, we enjoyed breakfast prepared in the well appointed kitchen. Dishes, bake pans, coffee maker, toaster, skillets and pots were available for our use. There was even a rice cooker and wine glasses! Several condiments, paper towels, and dish soap were also supplied for us. The dining table off the kitchen had two walls of windows. The beautiful ocean view caused us to linger over the many meals enjoyed right there in our condo.
Our cousins and their two young children from the island of Oahu joined us for a few nights stay. They enjoyed the second bedroom with two double beds and plenty of storage space along with an ample supply of bed linens, pillows, and blankets. And you know how little ones can get dirty within minutes of stepping outdoors. The washer and dryer unit in our condo was appreciated even more by our cousins than us, as they were able to launder the dirty clothes from children playing in the lagoons on the grounds of Kauai Beach Villas.
As we spent our late afternoons unwinding at the pool and hot tub, we realized what a great value Kauai Beach Villas was for us. We will definitely return! We highly recommend these accommodations for families, couples, or groups of friends. Mahalo!
