I saw Jesus and it changed my perspective on everything!
I was talking with the Lord tonight and He said something that blew my mind…
He reminded me of what happened earlier in my day. It was in the afternoon when I was walking with my business partner towards the train station. As we where walking I saw two people that looked homeless sitting next to each other and they had a sign up asking for money. As I saw them I was instantly reminded that I have $50 in my account that I could use to help them. But I didn’t even ponder upon that thought, I just disregarded it so quickly and continued to walk on.
After the Lord reminded me of that even that had happened earlier in my day. He then showed me a vision, and it was the exact same event of what happened. However this time through, when I was walking towards the train station and I saw those 2 homeless people, I no longer saw those two people, I saw Jesus sitting in their spots instead! The Lord then told me, “when you walk past such people, you are walking past Me”.
I was really blown away!
He then told me that “where ever you see the homeless, the poor, widows, the fatherless, the forgotten, the sick, the hurting people…that is where He is”. He then said to me that “He is in two places on this earth”…
1. Wherever Love is demonstrated
2. Wherever the homeless, poor, widows, fatherless, etc abide
He then reminded me again of a time that I was walking on the same street a few weeks earlier. I was walking and I saw a homeless person and a young girl talking to the homeless person asking him if they where okay. After He reminded me of that the Lord showed me a vision and I was taken back to the beginning of that same street starting all over again. I was again walking and I saw that same homeless person, but now this time around when I saw that girl asking the homeless person if he was okay. I didn’t see the girl anymore, I saw Jesus Christ asking the homeless person if he was okay and if he needed anything…
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” — James 1:27
“Then he will say to those on his left, Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me. They also will answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you? He will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.” — Mathew 25:41–45
