In Person Drop Resume

Last week, I had found an opportunity to applied for a job in Dawood insurance ltd. I had submitted online application but due to show my passion and competence, I convinced myself to go for personal drop. Initially i found myself reluctant to do that stuff. Actually the company required staff that minimum have one year experience for the job. But as a fresh graduate I have not any type of experience. So, it is better for me to personally drop my resume and convinced them that I have the capability to do that even without having experience.

So, I build a elevator pitch or you can say a quick introduction about 2–3 minutes that will be helpful for me specially in order to impact on recruitment officer. Initially the guard not allow me to inter into the officer but after few minutes discussion, he allowed me. I meet the officer and drop my resume and quickly introduce myself. The officer like my way and attitude but he said, company have a restriction about job requirement specially experience for that post.

But he offer me, if I want to join company as a internee so, he will talk to higher management. That offer also helpful for me because our university demanding internship instead of project for the completion of BBA degree.So, I said to him, I will reply you soon about that offer.

The most important get away from that whole thing is that, I found myself more confident about the thing that personal drop actually impact.Because as job require, I did fulfill on that criteria but they offer me internship and promise to me if I done good work then they will be hire me as a underwriting manager and it is not a small deal.
