GOD IS CRYING
Tick, Tick, Tick
A baby girl loses her hand
The seven-year old boy drowns in his blood
Five siblings become orphans-
All this happens in an hour
A blink of the eye
Tick, tick, tick
The city is lost
In blood, in screams, in cries
All is black, and so is the sky
Tick, tick, tick
“GOD IS CRYING”
Shouts the little boy
God is dying
All this happens in a minute
Don’t close your eyes people
All this happens in a second
A blink of the eye
Gaza is drowning
In blood, in screams, in cries
What’s happening in Gaza today will soon be a part of history. Egypt and Saudi Arabia haven’t intervened because they’re against Hamas. Israel is of course looking for any excuse to chase the Palestinian people away from their land/homes. USA is evidently Israel’s puppet therefore, hasn’t and won’t intervene. Like always, it’s the weakest, poorest, most vulnerable ones that will be killed. Humanity is just a fancy word we all like to use. The truth is that aside from a few rallies, or social media posts we are not doing much. Life will go on, and this will just become another shameful stamp on the face of “HUMANITY”
Where’s the God I believe in? God is probably thinking, “Human is that noble creature I created and was so proud of that I turned away and condemned Iblis “Lucifer” for he refused to bow to Adam “HUMAN” yet this noble creature is wilder than a crazy dog with a bad form of rabies.” I wrote this poem, thinking of that scenario in my head. That’s why I chose the title “God is crying”
