One of the greatest artists in Japan, Yayoi Kusama’s exhibition “My Eternal Soul” is currently held at The National Art Center Tokyo. Do not miss a chance to see her exclusive pieces of art, available till May 2017 only in Tokyo!

Yayoi Kusama (草間彌生) is a Japanese artist and writer, known as a precursor of the pop art, minimalist and feminist art movements.

In 2016, she has been listed to TIME magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. She is often described as “the Greatest Artist in Japan” or “the Queen of Pop Art”. Even if you’ve never heard of her name, you may recongnise of her work, the famous pumpkin statue.

In past years, her exhibition has been touring around the world including Europe, Latin American and Asia and receiving great praise all around the world.

Currently, Yayoi Kusama’s exhibition “My Eternal Soul” is taking a place at The National Art Center, Tokyo in Roppongi. The exhibition which has begun on 22nd February, is the largest scale of her exhibition ever set in Tokyo, including over 130 pieces of her art work which nobody has seen before. Visitors can enjoy her works and learn her career the from the early stage to present.

The exhibition features her paintings, collages, sculptures, environmental installations, novels and poetry, and of course the famous dotted pumpkin. Numbers of novelty goods are sold at the museum and they are as cool as her exhibits and great items to take home as souvenirs. Also visitors are allowed to take photos of some of her exhibits. So don’t miss a chance to take a selfie with her greatest pop art! :-)
