FITNESS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH AGE

Granted that sounds like a big bite to take off the mass of data provided by the great number of people who believe that aging somehow starts at 40 and we continue declining with the passng of the years. And this goes especially for people who are 60 and over. Oh my, how they bombard people as they get older with every myth they can pile on them, from the undeniable ‘facts’ of genetics, to the laboratorial specimen’s, to the Big Pharma blasts we get over the television as we leisurely try to enjoy a late-night movie or a soap.

But people forget — aging is big business. If the agists can build up enough of a hype of fear, anxiety and expectation, they can get people to rush out of the house and start buying every snake-oil concoction out there to avoid the horrible fate, that aging trap that’s waiting as the years tick off, one-by-one!

Unfortunately, most of the stories have a two-fold impact. On one hand they drive people to buy all those anti-aging formulae’s, (there are some good one’s too) regardless of how much they are getting fleeced at the time, or they simply give up on life, believing that it will be to no avail to try to do something about it.

Well, both are bad and I’m here to teach you how you can change that scenario of declining with chronological years and turn it into a gold mine of health, vitality and fitness that you can benefit from, and yes, prolong your life in the gambit. I’m really doing it and I’m nearly 81 years old to date. Look at my photo above and you can see how chiseled my physique is. I’m not much different then you, if you’re basically uninjured or handicapped in some ways. All I’ve done is perpetuate 4 basic protocols of mine and stick to it:

  1. Get plenty of sound basic nutrition, like turkey, fish and chicken. Eat brown rice instead of white, yams instead of potato's, large salads everyday with plenty of English cucumbers, nuts, Avo’s, tomato's, couscous, beans, low-fat cheese’s. Eat whole grains for breakfast, fresh fruit like bandanna’s, strawberries, cherries, etc. Drink filtered water at least 6 glasses a day.
  2. Take quality supplements, (I recommend Do Not Age’s because of their guarantee of high-quality standards of purity). I take vitamin's-minerals, electrolytes, Quercetin, Organic Greens, Beet powder, vegetable juices, NMN, Fisetin, NAC, creatine, protein, BCAA’s for working out.
  3. An eneergetic fitness routine. Find your ow thing by trying out different systems, if you want a specific routine. I work-out twice a day beginning with high-energy running in place, jumping, punching, stretching, twisting, etc. In the evening I go to Planet Fitness and do another with nautilus machines, pull-ups, push-ups, dips, crunch machines, and in the back room I do Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial arts that is extremely acrobatic. I’m really flexible from all my stretching, so it doesn’t injure me. Be sure to do a lot of stretching too, if you want to engage in cross-fit activities.
  4. I place enormous importance of what precipitated this article and that is MIND-SET. You need to develop a positive, high-self-esteem, self-image if you want to succeed in achieving the state of mind leading to a longevity, anti-aging, self-motivated ideal body. It takes daily work and dedication, no slacking or putting things off, waiting for some big break to come, or change of lifestyle. You are the CEO of your life. No one else can do it for you. I might inspire you and, in that way, help you — but it is up to you to get it done and that path toward your ideal goal-physique and health is totally up to your state of mind. Think positive, be proactive, and most of all expect the best. If and when you do, with patience and hard work, you may end up looking like I do as I enter my eighties!
